Today is the last day of the 4th annual Latin American Seating Symposium organized by the Argentine Association of Assistive Technologies (AATA), held in Rosario, Argentina where Convaid is represented by its Argentine distributor, Rehavita, that was held from September 13-15, 2017 at the Ros Tower Hotel.

The Latin American Seating Symposium is the foremost event focused on seating and mobility technologies, attended by global experts in rehabilitation and physical therapy who have spent the last two days learning about the latest technologies and treatments at the various workshops and product demonstrations offered at the annual event.

Organizers of the Latin American Seating Symposium report that participants are primarily from the South American countries Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Colombia, Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay and Bolivia.

Presenters at this year’s event included a contingent of experts from Canada, the United States and South America who addressed mobility and seating solutions across the lifespans of people living with conditions such as neuromuscular disorders, injuries and diseases of the spinal cord, orthopedic problems, systematic diseases, obesity or poly-trauma.
