Convaid invites its dealers, therapists and customers to explore its new website designed to provide a user-friendly experience and optimized functionality.  The new Convaid website makes it easy to navigate through R82 Convaid’s expansive product line of lightweight, compact folding pediatric wheelchairs, supported by how-to videos, customer insights, industry resources, an educational portal and interactive community section.

The new website helps Convaid and R82 users instantaneously geo-locate dealers anywhere in the world and access well-organized and easily searchable product information, special needs resources and online, live and on-demand learning opportunities. The new Convaid website is compatible with all browsers and mobile devices.

The new, faster and streamlined Convaid website features include:

  • Allows for social media sharing of blog posts, clinical and case studies, product photographs, videos, marketing communications materials, order forms and other content
  • Product offerings by categories of product such as the pediatric tilt-in-space portfolio consisting of the Trekker and Rodeo by Convaid; and Stingray, Kudu and Multi-Purpose frame by R82
  • Expanded information on condition-specific seating and mobility solutions
  • Access to information on special needs pediatric products within the categories of mobility, seating, standing, walking, transportation and personal hygiene

The Convaid website was developed by Torrance-based Endertech, a web design and software development company, and R82 Convaid’s Integrated Marketing Communications Manager, Milena Rimassa.  It offers media-rich blogs by product users, clinical experts and the company’s educational specialists. The website’s community section is fully integrated with Convaid’s engaged social media followers on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Google+ and LinkedIn.

“It is exciting to be able to provide customers more opportunity for engagement and learning.  We are becoming a resource to numerous communities-of-interest such as United Cerebral Palsy, Cure SMA, Rett Organization, MDA and several others, who look to Convaid as the go-to resource for information on pediatric seating and mobility. Through our community partners facilitated by our new website, we aspire to reach families as soon as they receive a diagnosis that requires early intervention,” said Director, Marketing, Nanneke Dinklo.

“We have seen an upswing in R82 Convaid caregivers and parents looking within our online community for answers and support, often sharing clinical posts, resources and social media commentary. It is inspiring to have watched our Facebook community grow from less than 4,000 to over 32,000 engaged users within two years.  Aspects of our new website functionalities and user interface came directly from suggestions by our social media community,” Rimassa said.
