Authorized dealer requirements

To become an authorized Etac dealer, your company must have a resale number and a retail location or certified repair facility. Etac requires a minimum opening order of $5,000, a resale certificate and a certified ATP or RTS on staff (USA) as stated on our application.

After review of the application and required documents, credit terms will be determined by Accounting. New orders placed by a new customer must be paid in advance by credit card or company check unless you are given NET terms.

All invoices will be sent by email to accounts payable.

Shipping

  • Convaid products
    • Convaid chairs will be shipped via Fedex ground at a flat rate of $40 USD, unless otherwise specified.
    • Non-chair products will be shipped via Fedex ground at a flat rate of $10 USD, unless otherwise specified.
    • Special shipping request for chair and non-chair products will incur at an additional shipping charge.
  • R82 products
    • All shipments to business addresses will be charged a standard flat rate of $21, unless otherwise specified.
    • All shipments to residential addresses will be charged a standard flat rate of $27, unless otherwise specified.
    • An additional $65 charge will be applied for all lift gate requests.
    • Some shipments are subject to an $8 handling fee.
    • The following products will be charged actual freight fees due to size and shipping requirements:
      • Stingray, Multi-frame, X:Panda, Kudu, and Cricket
    • Actual freight charges will be applied to all shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, unless otherwise specified.
  • Molift, Etac, and Immedia products
    • All shipments will be charged actual freight fees due to weight and size restrictions.
    • An additional $65 charge will be applied for all lift gate requests.
    • Some shipments are subject to an $8 handling fee.
  • Star Cushion products
    • All shipments will be charged actual freight plus an additional $2 for packaging and processing.

Returns & exchanges

  • Hygiene and Bathroom products are non-returnable.
  • Return Authorization (RA) is required for any merchandise to be accepted for credit, exchange, or replacement.
  • To initiate a return, please contact:
  • The Return Authorization (RA) must be requested within 30 days of original shipment.
  • The returned product must be received within 30 days of the RA being issued.
  • No credit will be issued for any products received after 60 days of original shipment.
  • The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product and assumes all responsibility for damage in shipping the returned goods. No call tags will be issued.
  • The shipping fee charged on original order and invoice will not be credited nor refunded.
  • Any returned goods that are damaged (not like-new condition) due to misuse, inadequate packaging, or mishandling will not be credited to the customer account. Please pack items carefully and wrap painted items and trays individually to avoid scratching, chipping, etc.
  • All returned merchandise is subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • If the reason for a return is the result of Etac’s error (e.g., we shipped the wrong item or to wrong location), we will issue a full credit including return freight charges.
  • All returns must be shipped to the following addresses:
    • For Convaid products:

    • For R82, R82, Molift, Etac, & Immedia Products:

    • For Star Cushion products:

  • Upon receipt at the facility, the returned goods will receive a complete inspection. Any damage or neglect or use outside of that which is described in the User Guide, will void the credit.
  • If a return is rejected, then the product and parts will be returned to customer at their expense.
