Convaid Products, Inc., today announced that the Convaid/R82 team will be in attendance at the International Seating Symposium (ISS), to be held at the West Bayshore, in Vancouver, B.C., Canada from March 1-4, 2016.
The international symposium addresses current and future developments in the areas of seating, positioning and mobility. Topic areas include service delivery, product development, research and outcomes. Learning objectives for attendees include:
• Identification and comparison of new and existing positioning and mobility equipment
• Discussion of emerging research evidence supporting seating and mobility practices
• Identification of resources for seating and mobility practice
• Comparison and discussion seating and mobility techniques and interventions
• Exploration of advantages and disadvantages of a number of innovative service delivery models
At ISS 2016, the Pediatric team will present the Convaid Trekker and introduce the YoYo, a hi-lo base that interfaces with the Trekker base. Another new product at ISS is the Carrot 3 booster seat that provides additional growing room to the Carrot 3 special needs car seat, at Booth 70 and R82 products at Booths 87 and 88.
Convaid will also present its core products at ISS, including the Convaid Cruiser, Rodeo and EZ Rider.
