We are happy to report that the Cerebral Palsy Children’s Walk/Run to be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 will proceed rain-or-shine, according to the event’s organizers. Representatives of Convaid | R82’s sales and marketing team will be on hand to demonstrate products and serve as companion runners to children participating in the event who may need assistance.
On-site registration will take place starting at 7:30AM at the Norman P. Murray Center in Mission Viejo, CA, where Children’s Cerebral Palsy Movement (CCPM) has organized its Cerebral Palsy Children’s Walk/Run – an event that runs parallel to the 5K Oso Fit Run – geared for children living with Cerebral Palsy who will participate alongside their mainstream peers. For many, it is the first time they are participating in such an event.
The CCPM event kicks off at 9:15AM with a fitness warm-up with run to follow at 9:30AM to be followed by a post-event reception to honor the Cerebral Palsy participants.
The event’s celebrity guest of honor is Breaking Bad’s RJ Mitte who will join 379 people who have already signed-up for the event for the combined running events. The post-event reception will take place inside the Community Center to endure that runners can warm-up and stay dry after the event.
