Similarly, each brand offers products that are specifically geared to patients living with a broad range of disease states, facilitating mobility, comfort and daily living.
“ISS is an exceptional event to get in front of pediatric and adult medical prescribers. This year, we are excited to present the newly-launched Convaid Flyer and expanding line of R82 seating, standing, walking, transportation and hygiene products. It is also an excellent educational avenue where we can learn about new developments in the seating and mobility from experts in the field,” said Ryan Williams, President, Etac NA.
About the Convaid Flyer
For therapists working in Early Intervention with three to five-year olds transitioning into the school system, the dilemma arrives with parents often preferring a lightweight stroller base versus the standard heavier wheelchair. Another scenario occurs when the older child or young adult lacks endurance, strength to ambulate throughout the day or self-propel, but does ambulate in classroom brief periods. Bridging this gap is the Convaid Flyer is a lightweight, modular and portable wheelchair developed with youth-orientated aesthetics and growth in mind.
Now in its 34th year, the symposium brings together 2,000 international attendees and is considered the world’s leading educational and scientific conference in the sector of wheelchair seating and mobility. In addition to an extensive exhibition hall, ISS will present research forums, workshops, access to scientific and clinical papers, and multiple panel discussions.
